Daisy Bopanna becomes Daisy Naidu
While her first name stays the same, her surname has changed from Bopanna to Naidu, and this is not the influence of numerology.
'Mom has been a source of strength to me, supporting all my personal and career decisions. Hence I want to carry her name alongside mine,' explains Daisy. Adding, 'After Garam Masala, my mother insisted that I get straight back to Bangalore and finish my graduation. And though a few people cannot understand why I would go back to finish my studies, I understand my mom's point of view and value it. Now that my graduation is over, I'm back, all set to work towards a career in films.' She reportedly said she is ready to act again, and immediately landed a three-movie deal with a corporate company! Could the name change have had this impact?
